Question: Does the three second rule apply if it relates to your toothbrush, and the toilet floor?
Factors that you may need to consider before answering:
- It was a BRAND NEW toothbrush
- And it was a fancy pants toothbrush. The tips were all purple and the handle was all ergonomically shaped and all that jazz. It represented a tooth brushing investment.
- It fell bristle side up!
- And there’s no more toothbrushes in the cupboard. If it were my mum’s house, she would have a stash of new brushes, but we’re not that advanced yet.
- It fell behind the bathroom bin, just next to the S bend.
- Our toilet leaks.
- We haven’t mopped for ages.
- It was a BRAND NEW toothbrush.
I can’t believe I actually paused to consider this.
