Inspired by Veronica’s very tricky looking but not that hard party tarts, I dabbled in the kitchen and made these for an afternoon tea yesterday. Same idea, but sweet. It’s a mixture of ricotta, orange zest and maple syrup spooned onto puff pastry, then topped with sliced nectarines and dusted with cinnamon. I also painted the edges with a maple syrup/orange juice mixture. 12-15 minutes in a 200 degree oven. Presentation not my forte but you get the idea! Easy and delicious.
